Big Stitch
Handcrafted objects are the result of our labor. However, for decades, quilting and appliqué techniques have encouraged us to conceal the knot, hide the stitches, and downplay the countless times we stab the fabric with needle and thread. I sew because I love the process and results, and big stitches are a tangible visible celebration of that love running through the fabric.
Whispered Stories
Nature, color, and fabric patterns inspire the bespoke designs and adornments I sew. The whispers of inspiration are transformed into stories told through the title of each quilt because I believe art deserves a title..
